He was very close to her mother who had given him his first guitar when he was around 10yrs old and promoted to pursue his instincts of becoming a musician.
Keith’s father was a factory worker and had never liked the idea of a musician and wanted his son to do some technical studies for which Keith Richards was admitted to the Dartfort Technical School where he never enjoyed any studies and always preferred to stay out and practise guitar.
He was removed from the school and admitted in a local art n music institute.BUT KEITH RICHARDS NEVER LIKED ANY SORT OF REGIMENTATION AND HAD LEARNED MUSIC LARGELY BY HIMSELF PLAYING AND SINGING CHUCK BERRY’S n ELVIS PRESLEY’S HIT NUMBERS !

The band had other prominent musicians like BRIAN JONES,DICK TAYLOR et.al .
