Irrespective of such positionings/placements , There Is No Denying The Stature That Dostoevsky Is Accorded And The Zone Of Influence His Writings Had Effected : IT WAS SECOND TO NONE !
He wrote in 19th cent. and was dead in the early 80s of that cent., Yet He Is Supreme Amongst The Writers From Whom The Very Many Great Authors Of 20th-cent. Drew Inspirations!

Dostoevsky Had An Uncanny Grasp Over Human Psychology And He Painstakingly Depicted, Rather Delienated The Various Layers Of Human Psychology And Had One Conclusion That A MAN IS ESSENTIALLY GOOD . .! That Even A Rogue, A Pauper or A Downtrodden , Has Some Glimpses Of Goodness Somewhere Deep Down Inside !

‘CRIME AND PUNISHMENT’ and ‘BROTHERS KARAMAZHOV’ are two of the best of classics written in any languages !
And, If You Read These Two Novels Of Dostoevsky, You Will Not Be The Same Person Again !
Such Is The Spell And Such The Transformative Forces That One Comes Under While Reading Dostoevsky !
