Very Very Sad Thing!Such precedent might dilute the prestige n craze associated with The Pulitzer.
This is the ELEVENTH TIMES THAT THE PULITZER FOR FICTIONHAS NOT BEEN GIVEN.It is also for the first time in 35yrs that there is no award for fiction- -the last time it happened was in 1977.
The first time no award given for fiction was in 1941 when there was no consensus builded on ‘FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS’-by theLiterature-Nobel-Laureate ERNEST HEMINGWAY!
