TODAY,D 27TH OF FEBRUARY IS CELEBRATED AS ‘HAPPY INTERNATIONAL POLAR BEAR DAY’!
AN OCCASION TO LEARN THE BEAUTY OF DIVERSITY IN OUR ECO-SYSTEM AND TO KNOW ABOUT THESE ARCTIC-INHABITANTS!
IT IS ALSO A MOMENT TO RE-LOOK N RE-EXAMINE OUR ROLES IN DAMAGING OR OTHERWISE THE NICE BALANCE THAT USED TO EXIST IN OUR ECO-SYSTEM BEFORE WE STARTED OUR MADDENING JOURNEY OF INDUSTRIALIZATION N OTHER PURSUITS THAT HAS WITHOUT A FAIL BEEN POSING PLUS CAUSING IRREPARABLE DAMAGES . .!

TODAY THE POPULATION OF POLAR BEARS IS ESTIMATED TO BE AROUND 20000 to 25000. . .alarming number!
By the middle of this century it will be half and at d end of this century world will have only memories!

Global warming leads to the melting of arctic snow shelves and this downgrading phenomenon has been rapid.

Only 5 countries hv the population of polar bears : CANADA, RUSSIA, GREENLAND, NORWAY N USA.

Despite the status of polar bears being ENDANGERED, Canada allows hunting n illegal trade of polar bears’ body parts!
This year it is expected that the CONVENTION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ENDANGERED SPECIES will make all kinds of trades of polar bears’ parts illegal n this body will put pressure on the Canadian Govt. For the Conservation of polar bears.

POLAR BEARS INTERNATIONAL CONSERVATION SOCIETY HAS REQUESTED PEOPLE OF THIS WORLD TO DOWN THE TEMPERATURE OF THEIR THERMOSTATES BY JUST TWO DEGREES THIS YEAR TO EFFECT LESSEN THE CARBON EMISSION!

JOIN BY CONSERVING ENERGY,METICULOUS USE OF FOSSILS’ FUELS N OTHER MEASURES IN ORDER TO PUT TAB ON D CARBON EMISSIONS N GLOBAL WARMING!
